Your wheel is made with double sided padding so that you can grip the wheel comfortably and with no chance of slipping if your hands or feet get sweaty. The wheel is also wider than the other ones on the market so that you can fit both feet on the surface to work the core or to stretch. If you take a look at our videos, you will see what I mean. There are SO many cool things you can do with this wheel and you don't have to be super athletic or flexible.
Here's a great way to get to know your wheel when it arrives:
Step 1: Place the wheel on your yoga mat so that it’s standing on end. Sit down so that you are facing away from the wheel and position it so that it’s connected to your low back. Bring the soles of your feet to the earth with your knees facing the sky.
Step 2: Start to lean into the wheel and rest. Gradually scooch your body away from the wheel and move it up your spine until you can recline your upper back into the wheel.
Step 3: Take several breaths here and feel your body relax. You will notice your spine decompress, your chest and shoulders relax and open, and your belly totally let go.
